My background
My passion for health and fitness continues to grow as I do. As an infant and throughout my teenage years, I was in and out of the hospital, battling to breathe regularly. When I was 18, I developed an infection in my lung that led to a hole and a week long ICU trip. At that point in my life, I had only added more pharmaceuticals but after a week in the ICU - I decided to take my health into my hands.
I began studying exercise, nutrition. eastern medicine, mindfulness practices, psychology, neuroscience, quantum physics, movement, breathwork, etc. All of these topics have greatly contributed to my holistic understanding of health thus far.
These topics are very complex and I choose to continue learning more about each of them - but within a few years of studying and making lifestyle changes, my health made huge improvements. I began learning about epigenetics and realized that what I was being told all my life was not correct. My genetics were not dictating my health, though I have some genetic predispositions, variables such as exercise, nutrition, beliefs, environment internally/externally, sleep, stress, etc - were the main variables in determining my health.
Now after 15 years of studying and working with clients I realize how powerful we are at healing and growing.
My goal is to provide an environment where people thrive. I remain a student and curious so I learn about every client I work with and I get to witness so much growth. I coach functional fitness, nutrition, mindset, and lifestyle practices. I provide tools to develop outside of the gym and educate as much as one is receptive to. I have an excellent reputation because I always show up and give 100% to each client, each day.
My philosophy
When I think of empowerment, I think of awareness. Over the last decade of regular self-development practices, the more awareness I developed in any area, physical-mental-spiritual, the more empowered I became.
My mission is to spread awareness about the power of the mind, Science and spirituality are finally merging and it is a beautiful time to have conversations about expanding our consciousness while developing our body, mind, and spirit. We are only given this body for a short time and we gain freedom through cultivating discipline - becoming proactive instead of reactive.
